A Métis and Settler theatre artist born and raised in Mohkinstsis (Calgary), Treaty 7 Territory. She won the 2024 Governor General’s Literary Award Laureate for Drama for her play There is Violence and There is Righteous Violence and There is Death or; The Born-Again Crow.Lately, she wrote the book and directed the world premiere of Hucksterland at the 2026 High Performance Rodeo. Music and lyrics by Sacha Crow and Gus Rendell.Catch her this summer playing bass in Indians & Cowboys: This playful and powerful performance takes original western movie footage from nearly 100 years ago and mashes and smashes it back together like a punch in a saloon brawl that sends you crashin’ over tables and smashin’ out the front window. But here’s the catch – they do all the sound and music live and in person.That’s right! Bonafide real Indians and Cowboys will be right under that silver screen, whoopin’ and hollerin’, yodelin’ and revoicing those ol’ timey moving pictures.Coming to Calgary & Caravan Farm Theatre June 2026.
